Snarl

20 May, 2009

Slag Snarl is a bit low on useful articulation, particularly in Beast Mode, and his accessory needs work. But his transformation is fun, and he looks neat. Overall rating: Good

Swoop

20 May, 2009

Basically a single minor flaw in one mode to slightly blemish an otherwise fantastic toy. Overall rating: Very Good

Samurai Prowl

23 April, 2009

The base figure stands alone without any trouble, and isn't the armor more fun than some ninja stars and a traffic light? Overall rating: Excellent

Waspinator

12 April, 2009

Fantastic beast mode only brought down slightly by bad choices with two-thirds of the legs, and the robot mode has some articulation failings. Overall rating: Very Good.

Swindle

01 February, 2009

The paint could have been better, and the articulation could have been better. And the Vehicle Mode could have been better. If the shoulder and torso problems turn out to be widespread, those could definitely have been better, too. It will probably not shock you to learn Swindle's Overall Rating: Could Have Been Better.

Blurr

21 January, 2009

A very competent fantasy-car Transformer. May we be so lucky to get more this solid. Overall rating: Very Good.

Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime

04 December, 2008

The latest in a long string of highly articulated Deluxe-sized Optimus Primes. Overall Rating: Very Good

Sentinel Prime

26 November, 2008

Solid vehicle mode and straightforward transformation, but technically lacking robot mode. Overall rating: Could Have Been Better.

Ratchet

22 June, 2008

Of the Animated toys he owns so far, Ratchet is RAC's favorite. Overall rating: Very Good

Lockdown

13 June, 2008

Suffers some technical deficiencies, but still a solid toy, and enjoyably stylistic. Overall rating: Good.

Blackarachnia

09 June, 2008

While the figure is good enough on its own between a playable beast mode and a rather nice robot mode, the accessory is the unexpected high point. Overall rating: Excellent
