Be Beautiful Manga may well be Not Safe For Work- I see the word "Erotic" there in several places, so assume a PG-13/R rating for that site. There are also a few risque images in the "Electronic Press Kit" section of their main site, so be aware.
Anyway, Votoms. I have the first volume of the previous release- much less economical at 3-4 episodes per volume- and enjoyed it quite a bit. I have a thing for 80s mecha shows, and I wish more of them would get released here. (Matter of fact, I need to double back and grab Dunbine sometime.)
Takara recently released a Microman figure of pilot Chirico Cuvie, and it seems the matching Scopedog is on its way. It's quite impressive, even if I do expect it to be fearsomely expensive.
Also, Microman Forever has now been added to our Links page. I have no idea if our Microman coverage will ever expand beyond Godzilla `54, and as the name implies, MicroForever is better-suited to answer your burning MicroQuestions.
Finally, as sometimes happens, our planned Zeta Project II collection of reviews has been moved back to January. It's nearly complete, but we have something else in mind for you all for December...
Speak of the Devil

I mentioned Yoshiyuki Tomino's 1984 series Aura Battle Dunbine in my previous post, and it's come to my attention that the publisher, ADVFilms, is having a major sale. Nine of ten volumes of Dunbine (all but Volume 8, which seems to be sold out) are available for $4 a disc, before shipping. If you want the versions of Volumes 1 and 7 with Artboxes, those will set you back all of an extra buck each.
Dunbine's not the only deal here- all four volumes of Getter Robo: Armageddon are available for $5 apiece, as well as a great many other series and films clocking in at under ten bucks a disc. It's quite an impressive sale, so I thought I'd bring it to everybody's attention.
