November 2005November 2005Slight Delay ExVee, 10/28/2005 Not quite Wednesday, but pretty close. It Figures! is proud to present the very first full length English review of the MSiA RX-110 Gabthley! Originally planned to be part of the upcoming Zeta Project II, when the opportunity presented itself to have a review of this excellent figure up at almost the same time as its Japanese release, we decided that bringing you this review as timely as possible was more important. We're still planning the Zeta Project II for December, but we still have plenty in store in the meantime. So check out the review and gallery of 32 photos, and then be sure to check back soon for more new goodness! "Will he finish what he begins?" RAC, 11/01/2005 In this case, I'm happy to say that the answer is a resounding Yes: after nearly six months, the conclusion to the Clone Roundup special feature is now complete, with a second page of reviews and an updated Gallery! As luck would have it, I found the AT-RT Driver last week, just in time for the DVD release of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. I was also able to finally find Obi-Wan with Pilot Gear, and though it's a long-overused phrase, if you only buy one Obi-Wan figure this year, it should be this one. Thus ends my flirtation with the 3-3/4" Star Wars figure line- though I may be tempted to pick up some of Sideshow Toys' 12" figures once the line is underway. I like 12" figures, but the cost and space involved mean I only rarely pick them up any more. Even so, I know Sideshow's work to be of a high-quality, as my father collects their Universal Monsters figures. They got Boris Karloff's face right, which is unusual enough to instill confidence. As always, you haven't heard the last of us, so check back when you can for more reviews and photos! |
